The Ghost/Damages IM Associate is responsible for monitoring inventory to ensure all materials are properly verified and reported. Additional duties include miscellaneous store/stockroom activities, maintenance of inventory through proper processing of material receipts, transfers, and issues. The Ghost/Damages IM Associate will also support the Operations team to investigate and correct issues regarding MPT tickets in a timely manner.

Requirements

Essential Duties & Job Functions:

  1. Investigate discrepancies on Pick Tickets and correct issues.
  2. Adjust out Damaged products /ship out damaged products per client request.
  3. Complete any additional tasks and duties assigned.
  4. Reports discrepancies of over/under amounts and any damaged products to supervision - publish weekly and quarterly inventory metrics.
  5. Conducts searches to locate misclassified inventory.
  6. Communicate and develop process enhancements as needed.
  7. Perform root cause analysis on inventory discrepancies and recommend process improvements to eliminate them.
  8. Ensure materials are in proper locations.
Job Qualifications Mandatory:
  1. Be able to do basic math functions and use a calculator.
  2. Strong warehouse experience.
  3. Demonstrate a willingness to keep learning and improving.
  4. High level of energy and drive to work with a team.
  5. Excellent people and communication skills with the ability to work with different personalities.
  6. Maintain neat, clean, and orderly warehouse environment.
  7. Ability to work extended hours/over-time as needed.
  8. Adhere to all company policies and safety procedures and guidelines.
  9. Ensure proper and full-time use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  10. Operate a forklift, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment.
  11. Operate any material handling equipment safely and efficiently as required.
  12. Assist in maintaining the sanitation, security, and safety of the warehouse.
  13. Experience using a scan gun.
Preferred Qualifications:
  1. High school diploma required; one year of related experience in shipping and receiving.
  2. Organized thought process with high attention to detail with ability to produce accurate results, effective prioritization to meet scheduled deadlines, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  3. Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  4. Proven time management skills with the ability to respond to time-critical issues and work overtime as needed to meet deadlines.
  5. Excellent work ethic: ability to work self-directed and as a flexible team player.
  6. Professional attitude and the ability to represent the company with integrity.
  7. Ability to adapt to change in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  8. Required to read and write English, follow verbal instructions, and use simple math.
  9. Comfortable using a PC with computer software packages, including Microsoft Office Suite. Excel proficient preferred.
  10. Ability to comfortably communicate effectively via email and phone frequently required.
Work Environment:
  1. This is a Wayne, NJ based position operating out of a Warehouse environment
  • Warehouse Environmental Conditions are as follows:
* Moderate noise level in the work environment. * The work environment is indoors. * Warehouse temperatures may vary depending on outside temperatures.

Physical Demands:
  • Sight: Must be able to see well enough to read product lot numbers and expiration dates, read reports, and use a computer.
  • Hearing: Must be able to hear well enough to communicate in person or via technology, and to hear warning signals of forklifts and warehouse equipment.
  • Standing: Must be able to stand for shift duration.
  • Walking: Must be able to walk without assistance to perform job duties.
  • Mobility: Must be able to be mobile to operate warehouse machinery.
  • Sitting: Must be able to sit for shift duration.
  • Stooping / Kneeling: Must be able to stoop or kneel for short periods.
  • Lifting: Must be able to lift 30 lbs. - 50 lbs.
  • Hand Mobility: Must be able to have mobility in hands to open and seal packaging, utilize keyboard functions, and utilize phone systems.
