As a Registered Nurse, you will provide direct patient care and collaborate with patients, their families, physicians, and other members of our interdisciplinary healthcare team. Essential Functions and Responsibilities Include:

- Understanding and adhering to performance standards, policies, and behaviors
- Utilizing the nursing process to meet the specific needs of patients in all aspects of care
- Collaborating and communicating with the interdisciplinary healthcare team
- Integrating patient rights and nursing ethics into work practice
- Adhering to infection control standards to ensure patient and staff safety
- Supporting and practicing within the professional nursing practice model
- Participating in performance improvement initiatives
- Completing competency requirements and attending mandatory in-services
- Assuming charge nurse responsibility and performing other related duties as assigned

To qualify for this position, you must have a graduate degree from an accredited school of nursing and a current New York RN license/registration. A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is required and we value continuous learning and encourage our nurses to pursue further education.

In addition to your education, we prefer candidates with at least one year of acute care nursing experience. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association is required.
