Description Mental Health Counselor Masters - Full-Time/.9FTE Nights, PSPH SCHEDULE: 0.9 FTE; Averaging 36 hours per week. SUPPORTING NIGHTS; 12-hour shifts, 5:30p-6a PST. Every other weekend rotation (Friday & Saturday nights). The Crisis Service Counselor is a professional who provides crisis management; intervention; an emergent clinical evaluation; information; follow-up referrals; and discharge planning to patients and families who present in the Emergency Center with a wide variety of psychiatric, chemical addiction, and psych-social problems. Required Qualifications: Master's Degree in Social Work, Human Services or Psychosocial/Mental Health Field. 1 year of Clinical crisis evaluation and intervention in an acute psychiatric setting with an emphasis on quick assessment skills.
