Title Specialist II

The Title Specialist II is responsible for providing guidance and communicating DMV information to users in clear terms.

  • Provide an exceptional client experience.
  • Resolve issues with customers as they are presented either upon discovery or in response to a client call.
  • Work exception queues identified by the system.
  • Resolve exceptions by completing documentation, submitting to the state , and or working with the clients
  • Request power of attorney (POA) from clients.
  • Complete title validation.
  • Monitor aged titles, calling clients on vehicle title status, updating title status is title vault.
  • Receive payments, including tax payments, from customers for vehicle registration and titling transactions.
  • Provide assistance to clients by responding to emails and return phone calls from Clients and Client Services.
Minimum Requirements:
  • High School Diploma/GED and 3 years' experience in a related field.
  • OR the right candidate could also have a different combination, such as any level degree/certification beyond a HS diploma/GED in a related discipline and up to 1 year of experience; OR 5 years' experience in a related field.
Preferred Requirements:
  • DMV, Title Clerk, Account Management, Auction/Automobile industry experience and Technical Client Service experience highly preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment highly preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), with strong interpersonal skills and strong attention to detail is highly preferred.
  • Strong computer and data entry skills preferred.
  • Notary highly preferred.


USD 21.25 - 31.92 per hour

Compensation:

Hourly base pay rate is $21.25 - $31.92/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.

Benefits:

Employees are eligible to receive a minimum of sixteen hours of paid time off every month and seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in the form of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, and parental leave.
