Our Financial Software Engineers are responsible for the research and modeling of financial instruments in C++. This work keeps our products relevant in today's changing financial environment and paves the way for expansion into new financial markets. While working with analysts, user experience designers, and programmers this position plays a pivotal role in addressing the complex technical challenges created as we rapidly grow and scale our interfaces, algorithms, and infrastructure.

Financial Software Engineers own projects start to finish, working with internal stakeholders to ensure comprehensive solutions. They have a passion for problem solving and for clearly communicating complex information.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with team members to build accurate models of financial instruments.
  • Write high-quality C++ code in the Microsoft Visual Studio environment.
  • Study and be willing to learn about the world of fixed income investments.
  • Collaborate with our internal Client Services Team and our clients to design, document, implement, test and deploy solutions.
  • Improve fixed-income investment management through precise analytics thereby enabling Portfolio Managers to make better investment decisions.
  • Continually identify system and software opportunities for improvement.
What You Bring:

Required qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field.
  • Software programming experience or coursework, ideally C++.
  • Strong mathematical aptitude and a desire to learn and master the mathematics within finance.
  • Strong logical reasoning, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across disciplines with excellent communication, organizational, and collaborative skills.
  • Eligible to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
Preferred qualifications:
  • Exposure to concepts in Quantitative Economics or Econometrics.
  • Experience with mathematical modeling and statistical analysis.
  • Desire to optimize processes.
  • Attention to detail and mastery of information design.
  • A natural curiosity and desire to challenge yourself and those around you.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently complete tasks and drive projects to completion.

This is an exempt position targeting $70,000 to $90,000 annual salary based on experience and knowledge shown in the interview process.
