Job purpose

The Digital Marketing Manager will be a key leader in the management of Idahoan's digital marketing practice and planning. Reporting to the Director, E-commerce this individual contributor role is responsible for strategic digital marketing growth plans that deliver on revenue and profitability goals. The person in this position will be responsible for the of the overall digital marketing strategy planning and program development that effectively reaches consumers, enables strong relationships with key customers, and achieves business revenue and growth goals. Through influence and effective partnering, he/she will align the organization to recommended strategies and annual plans.

Strong program KPIs such as ROI, ROAS, increased household penetration and increased market share are some of the critical measures that this role will be evaluated on. This position will require the ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment, multi-task, and keep various projects on track. This position will require a commitment to learning, adapting, and innovating to stay ahead of rapid technological advancements in this dynamic practice area. Strong leadership and communication skills, both written and verbal, will be required to keep other functional areas apprised of and engaged in team initiatives.

Main Responsibilities
  • Effectively manage digital campaign strategy through the following channels/programs:
    • Programmatic media (banner, display, video, OLV ads)
      • Identify and reach targeted audiences across all devices with relevant messaging, ensuring the right message to the right audience on the right platform
      • Reach targeted audiences through CTV and OTT campaigns
    • Organic social media oversite and management
      • Idahoan Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, Instagram, YouTube pages
    • Owned websites – performance, content, security and compliance
      • Idahoan.com, shop.idahoan.com, Idahoan.co.uk, Idahoan.ca, Idahoan.lat, Idahoanfoods.com, etc.
    • SEO/SEM Optimization
      • Increase Idahoan position in search rankings by offering content creation ideas and planning based on analysis and data
      • Manage paid search campaigns across all search and display marketing engines (including social media)
  • Manage the execution of Idahoan's Retail Marketing digital plan in alignment with Idahoan's strategic objectives
  • Activate digital tactics against annual goals, including target audiences, key messages, and innovation initiatives
  • Monitor campaigns and quickly adjust for increased performance as needed.
  • Provide campaign reports focused on Idahoan's retail KPIs
  • Manage campaign specific websites, microsites, landing pages in alignment with retail campaign needs
Qualifications/Required Skills
  • Bachelor's Degree and minimum 5 years of work experience in digital marketing or related field. Background in Consumer Goods (CPG) strongly preferred.
  • The candidate should have experience in a Digital Marketing Associate Brand Manager or higher-level role.
  • Experience with DSPs (Demand-Side Platforms) for programmatic buying.
  • Experience working directly with/managing agency partners.
  • A sound understanding of digital marketing, E-commerce, and business functions within a CPG company.
  • Experience identifying, building, and delivering digital growth initiatives in the fast-moving consumer packaged goods industry.
  • Proven ability to deliver initiatives that have been realized and contributed significant gains in the capture of market share, revenue and volume growth, and growing key digital KPIs.
  • Demonstrated success anticipating future digital opportunities or problems and developing strategies that address them proactively.
