Brand Activation Manager

This role specializes in branding, social media content generation and execution, experiential marketing, programming/event activation and creating relationships within the local community. Developing strong partnerships with local and regional companies aimed at creating locally focused experiences for our guests at both the hotel and restaurant will be a top priority.

The Brand Activation Manager will also uphold the hotel brand voice and standards online and offline. This position will report to the General Manager but will work very closely with the Corporate Marketing team as well as the operational on-property hotel and restaurant team.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Develop and implement an annual brand activation plan
  • Develop, implement, and track annual partnership plan based on property goals
  • Develop ideas for creating locally-focused experiences for our guests at the hotel and restaurant, unique to the brand and market
  • Assist in the creation and implementation of programming and events to help drive business for both the hotel and restaurant
  • Assume a boots-on-the-ground coordinator role for fostering partnerships with local partners, vendors, businesses, and community leaders
  • Act as the onsite liaison between local partners and on-property team (hotel & restaurant)
  • Assist in representing the hotel and restaurant in community events
  • Keep the General Manager and Corporate Marketing Strategy Manager informed of guest experience sentiments
  • Uphold hotel brand standards online and offline
  • Assist with generating content for corporate and hotel social media
  • Lead and execute F&B social media efforts
  • Handle special projects that may be assigned outside the scope of daily work
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to easily adapt to dynamic situations while maintaining tact
  • Highly organized with the ability to utilize organizational tools
  • Possess the ability to be flexible in both developing ideas and implementing them
  • Ability to manage multifaceted professional relationships with onsite team members, brand partners, vendors, and community leaders
  • Technical understanding of marketing social media on major social media sites (Facebook, Instagram, etc.)
  • Ability to take photos on property as requested for press, social media, and general marketing
  • Creative eye for design and design consistency
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communication, hospitality or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years related experience to marketing, agency and/or hospitality
