Job Posting:

Kontoor is looking for a VP, Audit & Enterprise Risk Management that will be Responsible to ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of internal audit activities across the organization and provide independent objective assessments to executive leadership and the Board of Directors. Internal audit services may include financial, operational, compliance, information systems audit support, process improvement support, as well as consulting or other special project support as needed to support the company.

This position is also responsible for leading the enterprise risk management activities which involves identifying, assessing and mitigating risks that could impact the organization's financial stability, operational efficiency, reputation and compliance with regulations. The role collaborates closely with the executive leadership team to develop and execute risk management strategies that align with the organization's goals and risk appetite.

Responsibilities:

• Develops and executes a comprehensive internal audit and risk management strategy aligned with the organization's objectives. Collaborates with senior leadership to integrate risk management practices into decision-making processes.
• Identifies and assesses key risks across various business functions. Designs and implements strategies to mitigate these risks, ensuring that appropriate controls are in place and effective.
• Leads and oversees internal audit activities, including planning, execution, and reporting. Provides guidance to the internal audit team to ensure thorough evaluations of operational processes, financial systems, and compliance measures.
• Stays abreast of relevant regulations and industry standards. Ensures that the organization's operations are in compliance with legal requirements and internal policies and recommend necessary improvements.
• Identifies opportunities to enhance operational efficiency, streamline processes, and optimize resource allocation. Implements best practices and innovative solutions to drive continuous improvement across the organization.
• Fosters effective communication and collaboration with stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Presents audit findings, risk assessments, and recommendations to senior management and the board of directors.
• Recruits, mentors, and develops a high-performing team of internal auditors and risk management professionals. Provides coaching, guidance, and training to enhance their skills and capabilities.
• Prepares comprehensive reports on audit findings, risk assessments, and mitigation strategies. Ensures accurate and timely documentation of audit processes, methodologies, and outcomes.
• Leverages technology and data analytics tools to enhance audit efficiency and effectiveness. Identifies opportunities to leverage data-driven insights for risk assessment and management.
• Upholds the highest ethical standards in conducting audits, managing risks, and interacting with stakeholders. Promotes a culture of integrity, accountability, and transparency throughout the organization.

Requirements:

• Demonstrated ability to influence change across all levels of the organization.
• Strong Interpersonal capabilities with ability to effectively work across functions
• Ability to set strategic direction
• 10 + years with increasing responsibility in Finance, Audit, Risk Management
• Experience in global functions
• Bachelor's degree in finance or related field; MBA or post-graduate degree preferred.
• CPA required
