Job Description
The Senior Willis Towers Watson Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing sophisticated models and solutions using Willis Towers Watson's Igloo or Rescue platforms.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in actuarial modeling, financial analysis, and risk management.
This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
Knowledge of other actuarial software and programming languages such as Python, R, or VBA.
Responsibilities:
- Model Development: Design, develop, and maintain complex actuarial models using Igloo or Rescue.
- Analysis and Reporting: Conduct detailed financial and risk analysis, generating insights and reports to support business decisions.
- System Integration: Ensure seamless integration of Igloo or Rescue models with other enterprise systems and data sources.
- Technical Support: Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Igloo or Rescue-related issues.
- Optimization: Optimize model performance and accuracy, ensuring efficient and reliable results.
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all models, processes, and customizations.
- Collaboration: Work closely with actuarial teams, business analysts, project managers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest developments in actuarial science, financial modeling, and relevant software tools to continuously improve model functionality and performance.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in actuarial modeling or financial analysis, with specific expertise in Willis Towers Watson's Igloo or Rescue platforms.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Igloo or Rescue, with strong programming and analytical skills.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
