Observes all regulations concerning radiation protection of patients and staff. Provides age specific care for neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric individuals, i.e., tasks necessary for physical care and comfort, supportive tasks and teaching according to standards of care and cultural diversity. Assures confidentiality of patient information departmental, and hospital affairs. Participates in Quality Improvement and practices infection control polices. Triages patients upon entry into the clinical area and works directly with providers to process necessary orders. Is responsible for oversight of the Lab area and maintains required CLIA documentation. Performs necessary blood work as ordered by providers.
