Description

Job Title: Program Manager

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the entire program of migrating from Buganizer to JIRA, including
planning, execution, testing, and post-migration support.
Develop a comprehensive migration plan with timelines, milestones, and risk
mitigation strategies to ensure a smooth transition.
Engage with key stakeholders across diDerent teams to understand their
requirements, ensure buy-in, and keep them informed throughout the migration
process.
Work closely with JIRA administrators to customize workflows, fields, and reports to
match Buganizers functionality and team-specific needs.
Ensure accurate and complete migration of all data from Buganizer to JIRA,
including issues, attachments, comments, and history, while maintaining data
integrity.
Develop and execute training programs to help teams adapt to JIRA, guiding best
practices, new workflows, and features.
Identify and manage potential risks and bottlenecks that may arise during the
migration and implement appropriate contingency plans.
Ensure ongoing support and troubleshooting post-migration, addressing any issues
related to the migration and ensuring that all teams are comfortable using JIRA.
Provide regular updates to stakeholders and senior management on migration
progress, risks, and post-migration performance metrics.
Ensure thorough documentation of the migration process, workflows, and any
changes to ensure that future teams can maintain the JIRA environment eDectively.

Required Skills:
8+ years of experience managing large-scale IT or software migration projects, with
a strong understanding of project management principles.
Deep familiarity with JIRA, including experience managing migrations, configuring
workflows, and customizing the tool for specific team needs.
Previous experience working with Buganizer or other similar bug-tracking systems is
highly desirable.
Proven experience in managing data migration projects, ensuring data integrity, and
troubleshooting migration issues.
Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments, with the ability to apply these
methodologies to the migration process.
Strong technical understanding of software tools and their integration, with the
ability to work closely with JIRA administrators and IT teams
