You will be working with a dynamic team of certified sleep physicians, respiratory therapists, and fellow polysomnographers to diagnose and treat sleep and waking disorders in infants, children and adults.

- Position Summary
- Performs technical laboratory work of sleep disorder testing with direct and extensive patient contact. Test results directly affect diagnostic and treatment decision. The majority of the work is performed under minimal supervision.

- Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
- Education: High School education supplemented by course work in the physical and biological sciences.
- License/Certifications: Current BLS Certification. Credentialed as a RPSGT by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologies required with 1 year of related experience. Individuals who currently hold an RRT and RT license or R.EEG.T credential with a minimum of 1 year working in RT or EEG field may be considered for this position at the discretion of the program manager and/or Medical Director. If hired, these individuals would be expected to obtain RPSGT credential within one year.
- Experience: One year experience in the sleep medicine field.
- Ability to communicate clearly and empathize with patients, thereby eliciting cooperation during the performance of sleep studies and follow up therapeutic interventions.
- Ability to communicate clearly verbally and in writing with peers, managers and physicians.
- Ability to set priorities during high activity or abrupt patient scheduling changes.
- Ability to work independently under minimal supervision.
- Ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail while performing and scoring tests.
- Requires reading writing and mathematical skills at a level generally acquired through completion of a high school education supplemented by course work in the physical and biological sciences.
