Role Description

This is a full-time, hybrid role for a Utility Specialist and Permit Specialist; the applicant will be placed depending on experience. The Specialist will be responsible for managing all aspects of the permit or utility process, including communicating with local entities. In addition, they will be responsible for permit submissions, follow ups, customer updates, city inspections and updating our CRM. The role is flexible on location but needs to be near a local office (Houston, Fort Worth, San Antonio, Belton).

Qualifications

  • Experience in Solar Permitting or Utility is a plus
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus
  • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications or coursework is a plus
