Certified Pharmacy Technician

Are you a detail-oriented individual with a passion for helping others? We are seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician to join our client's team. As a Certified Pharmacy Technician, you will play a crucial role in assisting pharmacists in various pharmacy-related tasks to ensure the efficient operation of the pharmacy.

Certified Pharmacy Technician Responsibilities:

• Assist pharmacists in filling prescriptions accurately and efficiently
• Maintain proper inventory levels by ordering, receiving and stocking medications and supplies
• Process insurance claims and assist customers with insurance-related inquiries
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer concerns and answering inquiries
• Prepare medications by counting, pouring, weighing, measuring and mixing as directed by pharmacists
• Ensure compliance with all pharmacy regulations and standards of practice

Certified Pharmacy Technician Requirements:

• Must have a current certification
• Work well independently and be a team player
• Ability to focus with constant interruptions
• Possess strong customer service and problem resolution skills
• Laudable oral and written communication skills
• Action-oriented, organized and detailed
• Strong math skills
• Must meet all state requirements to be a Pharmacy Technician and be in good standing with the State Board of Pharmacy
• 2+ years of experience at a high-volume retail pharmacy
• Advanced computer skills and proficiency in Word, Outlook and Rx specific adjudication software
• Must have extensive experience interacting with third party organizations during the dispensing process
