Automotive Fleet Mechanic $5000 SIGN ON BONUSOn Time Ambulance seeks full-time automotive technicians to diagnose and repair company fleet vehicles as well as customer vehicles. Vehicles requiring repair include ambulances, vans and other vehicles. We provide a clean and safe work environment, promoting success for employees and satisfaction for our customers.Job Duties:Perform multi-point inspection and diagnosis of vehicles.Efficiently repair automotive systems, including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air-conditioning, etc., in accordance with manufacturer standards.Test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.Explain mechanical diagnoses and required repairs in a non-technical manner to customers.Provide labor and time estimates for initial and additional automotive repairs.Test-drive vehicles before and after repairs.Continuously learn new technical information and techniques in order to stay abreast with rapidly changing technology.Adhere to company regulations and keep abreast of recalls and updates.Technically capable, ensuring proficient use of service equipment including, PC etc., maintaining certification status.Benefits:MedicalDentalVision401(K)PTOPersonal Protective Equipment for safe work environmentCompany pre-pays ASE registration and testing feesVarious Shifts:DaysNightsWeekends10 Hour Shift, 12 Hour Shift, 8 Hour Shift, Day shift, Holidays, Monday to Friday, Night Shift, Overtime, Weekends RequirementsQualifications:High school diploma or equivalentMinimum of 6 months experience as a certified technicianMust have own toolsASE Certifications: Brakes & Steering and SuspensionMinimum of 2 of the following ASE Certifications: A1 Engine Repair, A6 Electrical, A7 HVAC, A8 Engine Performance, L1 Advanced Engine PerformanceWorking knowledge of shop equipment such as wheel and tire equipment, alignment system, diagnostic equipment, AC equipment, etc.)Valid driver's license with a clean recordTeam oriented, flexible and focused on maintaining a high level of customer serviceMust be willing to submit to a background check and drug screenWorking knowledge of Diesel Ford Vehicles
