Position Overview

Plex Sr Business Analyst is responsible for bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions. They analyze data, translate requirements, and guide project implementation. Their role involves collaborating with stakeholders, presenting findings to leadership, and ensuring successful software rollouts. Staying informed about industry trends is essential to keep the company competitive.

Areas of Focus

Plex Sr Business Analyst provide ongoing support for the Plex ERP system, optimize business processes, analyze data, enhance system features, train users, ensure security and compliance, and manage change during system upgrades or migrations.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with business units to understand their strategy, processes, and context. Identify capabilities needed to address business challenges.
  • Review assigned business processes to identify operational, financial, and technological risks. Propose solutions to improve efficiency.
  • Lead small to mid-size projects or assist on larger, complex projects related to operational business functions.
  • Keep stakeholders informed through effective communication and reporting.
  • Monitor system security and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Guide the organization through system upgrades or migrations.
  • Diagnose and resolve any issues or disruptions within the Plex ERP system. This involves investigating errors, analyzing logs, and collaborating with technical teams to restore functionality.
  • Oversee user accounts, roles, and access permissions within the Plex system. This includes creating new accounts, modifying existing roles, and ensuring proper security measures are in place.
  • Understanding data repositories and workflows within Plex front-end and back-end components.
  • Understanding the entire technological scope to aid in determining the proper solution within or outside of the Plex ERP System.
  • Regularly monitor updates and enhancements introduced by Plex. Keep abreast of new features, patches, and changes to ensure the organization maximizes the benefits of the ERP solution.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and with people at all levels of organization.
  • Supports ad-hoc analysis, reporting, and project requests.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or 5-7 years of relevant analytical experience.
  • Proficient with Plex ERP System with 5+ years of experience preferably in UX.
  • 5+ years of demonstrated success in analysis or supply chain.
  • Proficiency in creating detailed documentation, including process workflows using tools such as Microsoft Visio.
  • Proven oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong collaboration skills.
  • Project management skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting set deadlines.
  • Remote role (CDT)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with Power BI, VisionPlex, IntelliPlex, SQL
  • Microsoft Office 365 Suite
