The technician will serve as a liaison between INX and the customer and will be responsible for maintaining INX's on-site ink room. As an Inplant Tech you will be responsible for: Maintaining INX's excellent relationship with the customer Reviewing scheduling and coordinatingjobs with customer Being available for service call-ins as needed Performing technical service, color matching,ink production and dispensing ink Evaluatingproduction requirements based on customer schedule changes Controlling Work-off Inventory management and monthly consignment counts Performing job estimates Providingpress-side technical support Completingmonthly reports Performing Quality Control tests on incoming and site-manufactured batches Following all safety requirements Data entry accuracy Manufacturingbatches under 100 pounds Qualifications To perform your job as expected, you will be required to: Have a High School graduate or G.E.D. equivalent Be able to match colors effectively and pass a color vision test Demonstrate excellent customer service skills Effectively communicate with peers and customers Have excellent written, reading comprehension andmath skills Demonstrate proficient with Microsoft Suite programs and other computer skills Have the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently Have good organization skills 2 to 5 years of work relatedexperience In addition to these qualifications, we will consider as a plus if you have: Spectrophotometer knowledge & experience helpful Technically qualified to service Offset Sheetfed products Familiar with X-Rite IQC Flexible packaging knowledge Flexographic printing knowledge Solvent ink knowledge Previous lab, inplant, and warehouse experience SAP Knowledge Inplant pressroom experience College degree Additional Information We offer a competitive salary with excellent benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, pet insurance, HSA and FSA, 401(k), and more.
