Summit S.O.C. Operators are a part of a highly professional team of safety and security providers and are encouraged to contribute their knowledge and skill sets for the benefit of the community and department. S.O.C. Operators are responsible for monitoring, tracking and coordinating all incidents that will or may impact the community while in a fast paced environment. Using a variety of systems, S.O.C. Operators will assist with requests via phone, email and/or radio. S.O.C. Operators will troubleshoot, assess and triage security related issues as required and are responsible for the safety and well-being of all members, guest, and employee that are at The Summit Club. S.O.C. Operators must take a "concierge security" approach while working with our distinguished membership.

Responsibilities:

  • Answering and respond to routine and emergency calls.
  • Monitoring alarms and surveillance equipment.
  • Maintaining records of communications and events.
  • Dispatch security personnel as required.
  • Escalating unusual/critical event information to relevant supervisory personnel and others.
  • Preventing unauthorized access to the property and use of its facilities via surveillance equipment.
  • Coordinate with security and external partners during emergencies and routine events.
  • Maintaining a safe residential and working environment for all members, guests and employees by identifying, treating, and reducing workplace risks.
  • Utilizing multiple internal and external resources to gather and manage information and intelligence about events affecting the community.
  • Enforce the club's health and safety policies to all members, guests, and employees.
  • Adhere to all company service and operating standards.
  • Remain in compliance with local, state and federal regulations.
  • Maintaining the personal "concierge" security approach for all members, guests, and employees while on property.
  • Able to think outside the box and solve problems with resources at hand.
  • Assist in conducting investigations and able to update requestors in a timely manner.
  • Properly document every incident that comes into the SOC and escalate to management as needed.
Requirements:
  • Prior experience in dispatch, call center, SOC environment, armed security, law enforcement, or military.
  • High school diploma, GED, or higher education.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Clear Criminal Background.
  • Have the ability to work calmly and efficiently in high duress situations.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Advanced computer skills and proficiency.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Able to work in a team environment.
  • Self-motivated and able to multitask.
