Title: SAP FI Fixed Assets Consultant
Location: Hybrid with 75% Travel to Cleveland, OH
Duration: 3 months
Rate: Hourly Plus Expenses Reimbursed
Alignment: W2 or C2C

Description:
  • Implement and optimize SAP Asset Accounting (FI-AA) processes.
  • Configure and manage asset master data, asset classes, and depreciation areas.
  • Apply best practices for asset acquisition, capitalization, depreciation, and retirement.
  • Provide hands-on configuration and troubleshooting support for FI-AA.
  • Develop and deliver training sessions for end-users on FI-AA processes and functionalities.
  • Perform data loading and reconciliation activities into the Fixed Assets subledger.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of asset data during migration and integration processes.
  • Develop and execute data validation and reconciliation procedures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve data discrepancies and ensure data integrity.
  • Configure Asset Accounting (FI-AA) to meet statutory and tax reporting requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards and regulations.
  • Implement tax depreciation rules and ensure accurate tax reporting.
  • Collaborate with tax and compliance teams to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements.
  • Manage capital projects and budget processes using SAP Project Systems (PS).
  • Configure and manage project structures, WBS elements, and budgeting functionalities.
  • Monitor project budgets, expenditures, and capitalizations.
  • Collaborate with project managers and finance teams to ensure accurate project accounting and reporting.
  • Lead and manage SAP FI-AA implementation projects, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project success.

Requirements:
  • Extensive experience with SAP Asset Accounting (FI-AA) implementations, including best practices and hands-on configuration.
  • Proven experience in data loading and reconciliation into the Fixed Assets subledger.
  • Strong knowledge of setting up Asset Accounting for statutory and tax requirements.
  • Experience with capital projects and budgets using SAP Project Systems (PS).
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to lead and manage implementation projects.
  • SAP certification in relevant modules is highly desirable.
  • Experience with Central Finance is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field.
