The role you'll contribute:

The Receptionist, under supervision, will serve as facilitator for efficient, effective flow of information to guests, clients, employees and physicians who need direction to specific areas and/or offices for all Advent Health Centra Cares. Maintains an aura of congeniality and hospitality in all communications and provides exceptional customer service to our clients. In cooperation with supervisor(s) and other support staff, maintains current and accurate information required for efficient responses to callers / visitors and workflow.

  • Answers all incoming phone lines for Advent Health Centra Care Corporate office, greets and directs all visitors / clients. Maintains updated contact, extension and location lists. Responsible for retrieving after hours messages and routing to the appropriate party for action.

  • Provides exemplary customer service and accurate assistance to visitors and callers for Advent Health Centra Care Corporate office.

  • Responsible for the sorting and distribution of all incoming mail for the corporate office. Separates corporate accounts, correspondence and checks; identifies insurance payer and distributes to the appropriate party.

  • Supports PFS department with the processing of all returned mail and distributes to the appropriate party for correction.

The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed :

Minimum qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalency

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate by reading, writing legibly, speaking and comprehending English effectively in order to carry out job requirements

  • Must demonstrate exceptional customer service skills

  • Aptitude for strong organizational skills

  • Ability to work with people of various backgrounds

  • Must be able to work in a high stress environment

  • General secretarial skills

  • Microsoft Office
