WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT:
  • Network Security Leadership: Serve as the Network SME, leading the design, configuration, and security of all network devices, including firewalls, VPNs, LANs, and email systems.
  • Proactive Threat Mitigation: Monitor network traffic patterns and respond to incidents by implementing secure solutions, ensuring that all network infrastructure is resilient against threats.
  • Zero-Trust Implementation: Play a key role in embedding a Zero-Trust framework across the network infrastructure, contributing to the organization`s future-ready security posture.
  • Network Architecture Expertise: Take charge of building and architecting entire networks, going beyond simple implementations to create robust and secure network environments.
  • Collaboration and Global Integration: Collaborate closely with the global team as part of a growing Cyber/Infrastructure group, influencing network strategies that will scale across international locations.
THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS:
  • 5+ years of experience as in the Network Engineering and Security space
  • Bachelors degree in Technology, or relevant work experience required.
  • Proven expertise in configuring and securing Cisco switches/routers, Palo Alto, and Fortigate firewalls, along with F5 Load Balancers.
  • Hands-on experience in monitoring, patching, and mitigating threats within network infrastructures.
  • Strong understanding of Zero-Trust principles, with the ability to apply them in practical network implementations.
  • Demonstrated ability to design, build, and architect complex network environments, ensuring security and scalability.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work within a global framework and contribute to long-term strategic goals.
