We are seeking an experienced Quality Control Inspector in Houston, TX, ready to join forces with a company that delivers industry-leading solutions for critical service piping and pressure vessel systems.

1st Shift Hours: 7 AM - 4 PM

Pay: $25-$27 per hour (Based on experience)

The Quality Control Inspector will be required to perform inspections on materials, products, assemblies, and sub-assemblies, and demonstrate an advanced ability to perform dimensional checks and visual verifications of fabricated and machined parts to acceptance criteria. This position will validate the quality of machined and fabricated assemblies, review data supplied with material, liaise with suppliers, develop, and maintain inspection plans, interpret inspections, perform technical work tasks, elevate issues, apply routine techniques and standards, show initiative and enthusiasm to solidify foundational understanding, mentor or give technical guidance to junior inspectors and technicians and perform other tasks as assigned.

This position requires the candidate to have 3 years of quality control experience, training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Will need a minimum of 3 years of experience with the use of advanced quality inspection techniques, knowledge of ISO 9001 requirements, and a working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel. Desired skills included knowledge of Microsoft Office, ISO 17020, ISO 17025, and NDT methodologies. Must be able to work in a team environment or independently while being able to sit, stand, or walk for prolonged periods while being able to lift up to 50 pounds as required.
