**Job Title: Quality Control Electrical Inspector**

The Quality Control Electrical Inspector shall report to the Senior Quality Control Manager. Their primary job is to inspect the electrical work in an industrial /commercial setting to ensure compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and any additional State or local regulations preformed in the manufacturing of blast resistant modular buildings.

**Responsibilities**:
Include, but may not be limited to the following:

- Day-to-day activities of the Quality Control Department.
- The Quality Control Electrical Inspector shall spend much of their inspecting the electrical work through the knowledge of construction drawings and electrical codes and practices.
- Shall be responsible for conduction and documentation for compliance with appropriate codes, regulations, and approved plans / specifications.
- Inspects alterations and additions of existing buildings to ensure conformity with approved building codes.
- Must be able to interpret specifications, blueprints, and electrical sketches.
- The Quality Control Electrical Inspector will be responsible for examining wiring, lighting, heating and air-conditioning systems, Fire and Gas systems, circuit breakers, electrical components, and appliances to ensure they are in conformance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and any additional State or local regulations.
- Successfully conduct electrical inspections and Test Continuity.
- Prepare, compile, and maintain detailed inspection reports documenting all findings.

**Decision Making and Knowledge**:
Include, but may not be limited to the following:

- Ability to understand and successfully contribute to the modular program regulations for multiple states.
- Extensive knowledge of the principle of electricity.
- Deep understanding of voltage, wattage, and current.
- Understands complex circuitry.
- Ability to recognize improper wiring.
- Identifies issues with problematic wiring and electrical circuitry.
- Full understanding of all inspection procedures.
- Knowledge of how to use meters and other tools to test electrical systems.

**Requirements**:

- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Basic Journeyman level knowledge of NEC Codes.
- Possess good organizational skills and strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions of the trade.
- Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
- Bilingual (English and Spanish) speaking and writing is a plus.

**Education & Experience**:

- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 5 years of relevant construction experience.
- At least 7 years of commercial construction electrical experience that includes commercial or industrial electrical installation and repair or an equivalent combination of training and experience is preferred.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
