Work Schedule:
80% FTE, day shift. No weekends or holidays. Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Hours are based off the operational needs of the department. You will work at the Oncology Clinic within University Hospital, in Madison, WI with occasional shifts at Eastpark Medical Center in Madison, WI.

We are seeking a Registered Nurse to:
- Join a team of REMARKABLE nurses that use compassion and teamwork to care for their inspiring patients in the Oncology Clinics.
- Connect and form therapeutic relationships with patients.
- Care for patients receiving chemotherapy, supportive care medications for cancer and hematologic conditions, blood transfusions, bone marrow transplants, and CAR-T cell therapy in an outpatient setting
- Use targeted assessment skills to assess patients during visits and via telephone triage and online patient portal.
- Participate in ongoing oncology educational and growth opportunities.

- Graduate of school of nursing Required
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- 6 months of RN experience Required
- Relevant Inpatient RN experience Preferred
- Ambulatory experience Preferred
- Relevant oncology experience Preferred
- Chemotherapy experience Preferred
- Experience with Venous Access Devices (VADs) and IV skills Preferred
- Registration as a registered nurse in the state where employed or licensure in a state in the licensure compact Required
- Current CPR/BLS certification Required
- Certification in specialty area of practice Preferred

Eastpark Medical Center - UW Health's new state-of-the-art ambulatory facility will transform the patient experience and offer cutting-edge proton therapy. This 469,000-square-foot ambulatory facility will house many specialties, including women's complex care, adult cancer care, advanced imaging and laboratory services and innovative clinical trials. It will be located across from East Madison Hospital on Eastpark Blvd. and is slated to open in fall 2024.
