About the Role:

As a Technical Program Manager at Captions, you will be the linchpin in our product release process, driving projects to successful completion while ensuring alignment with user needs and business objectives. Your key role will involve anticipating and removing roadblocks that hinder our developers, allowing them to concentrate on solving complex technical problems. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to streamline processes, manage project timelines, and leverage data to address opportunities and challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with engineering, data science, product design, and customer support teams to ensure impactful releases for users.
  • Facilitate internal communication across all departments, from engineering to marketing, to prepare for each release and coordinate additional testing requirements.
  • Analyze and synthesize analytics and customer feedback in partnership with customer support and data science to identify and prioritize opportunities or issues.
  • Work with marketing, customer support, and operations to ensure all content is accurate and ready for publication.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience as project manager or program manager, preferably in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional Communication: Ability to convey detailed and concise information effectively in both written and spoken forms.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of product development, engineering releases, and product life cycles.
  • Simplification Skills: Experience in streamlining engineering workflows, emphasizing speed and efficiency over extended development periods.
  • Internal Coordination: Skilled in managing and engaging multiple stakeholders, including engineering teams, design, customer support, and senior leadership.
  • Project Management: Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects, balancing technical trade-offs with strong project management skills.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of precision in all aspects of work produced.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Proficient in using data analytics tools and metrics to inform product development and assess performance.
