Pay Range: $99k - $145k/annum. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

  • The Director of Nursing manages the financial and clinical operations of assigned area(s) and recommends qualified competent persons to provide care.
  • Integrates department services with the hospital's primary function.
  • Coordinates and integrates services within departments.
  • Develops and implements policies and procedures that guide and support provisions of services.
  • Supervises nursing staff and assures staff competency.
  • Develops, markets, implements, and evaluates new services and programs. Participates in outside source selection for needed services.
  • Ensures compliance with regulatory agencies.
  • Provides for orientation, in-service training, and continuing education for persons in the department.
  • Assumes the duties of the Associate Nursing Executive or Administrative Coordinator as assigned.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
  • Two (2) years of experience as a Supervisor, Charge Nurse, or Clinical Manager required.
  • Five (5) years of current clinical nursing experience required.
  • BLS required and maintained. ACLS optional.
  • Certification in area of specialty preferred.
  • Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state(s) of practice and/or has an active compact license, in accordance with law and regulation.
  • Graduate from accredited school of nursing, Bachelor of Science degree required. Masters prepared preferred.
