Under limited supervision, the HR Assistant handles various administrative tasks and services to support effective and efficient operations of the organization's Human Resources department.

Essential Job Functions:

• Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation.

• Performs periodic audits of HR files to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately.

• Provides clerical support to the HR department.

• Acts as a liaison between the organization and external benefits providers and vendors, which may include health, workers' compensation, and retirement plan providers.

• Conducts or assists with new hire onboarding.

• Assists with planning and execution of special events such as benefits enrollment, company meetings, employee recognition events, and more

• Assist with processing benefit invoices and audits

• Support management with various job functions and other duties

• Completes miscellaneous duties & projects as assigned

• Backup to the Receptionist for breaks and vacation

Requirements

• One to Two years of experience in administrative roles preferred

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential information

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Experience with Microsoft Office applications and other standard office equipment

• Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn Human Resource Information System (HRIS), and similar computer applications. (Experience with Paylocity is a plus)

Salary Description

$20 - $25/Hour
