As a Quality Assurance Inspector, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that New Flyer's buses meet high-quality standards and customer requirements. Your attention to detail and strong technical skills will contribute to the overall success of the production process, ensuring the delivery of safe and reliable transit buses to customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct inspections on various stages of the manufacturing process to ensure compliance with quality standards
  • Use precision testing equipment and measurement tools to perform accurate inspections
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and customer requirements
  • Document inspection results and communicate any non-conformities to the appropriate personnel
  • Collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve quality issues
  • Perform final inspections on completed buses before delivery
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by providing feedback and suggestions for process enhancement
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 Quality Assurance procedures
  • Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a safe working environment
Requirements
  • Prior experience working as a Quality Assurance Inspector in a manufacturing environment preferred
  • Strong understanding of quality control principles and practices
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and customer requirements
  • Experience using precision testing equipment and measurement tools
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to perform accurate inspections
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Assurance procedures is a plus
