Job Title: Quality Inspector

FS-Curtis is seeking a Quality Inspector to join our team. As a Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of incoming materials and components, as well as processing sales returns.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform detailed inspections of received materials and components, checking for conformity with purchase orders, specifications, and quality standards.
  • Inspect and verify returned products from sales, ensuring they meet the company's return criteria.
  • Accurately record inspection results, including those related to sales returns.
  • Ensure that both incoming materials and returned goods comply with company quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Liaise with suppliers to address quality issues, facilitate resolution, and manage any quality-related aspects of returns.
  • Assist with inventory management by ensuring proper storage and handling of inspected materials and returned goods to prevent damage or contamination.
  • Ensure that inspection equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and functioning correctly.
  • Prepare and submit detailed reports on inspection findings, including sales returns.
Requirements:
  • Understanding of manufacturing equipment, assembly process, and safety procedures required.
  • Experience with assessment and quality improvement processes preferred.
  • Technical capacity.
  • Commitment to excellence and high standards.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong planning, organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage priorities and workflow.
  • Interpersonal savvy; able to collaborate and work closely with others.
  • Self-motivated, resourceful, and adaptable; able to work independently within team focused environment.
  • Strong understanding of how to create highly satisfied customer.
  • Ability to follow established policies and procedures with a safety-first attitude.
  • Broad level of safety, health, and environmental rules and regulations, policies and procedures.
