Summary

The National Account Manager reports to the NOAM PPS Sales Director and is responsible for working with the field sales team and marketing to identify and develop national accounts. Responsible for driving results for the entire sales cycle including building and developing senior-level customer contacts, setting the sales strategy and negotiating with the customer for profitable new, cross sell and expansion business. Success will be measured by building a book of business, achieving sales targets, building strong relationships and by demonstrating good leadership skills.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to secure sales growth maximizing all product lines in the full spectrum of distribution across key customers and selected industrial channel customers.
  • Develop and maintain close working relationships with senior management at “A” (senior level “A” accounts are further defined as those accounts that can purchase at least $125 k annually) level national accounts.
  • Manage the interaction process and demands upon the business based upon customer needs.
  • Work jointly with field sales team to develop accounts and foster existing relationships.
  • The ideal candidate will display results driven mind set, strong business acumen, entrepreneurial spirit, financial knowledge, communication proficiency with all levels of an organization, presentation skills, collaboration, P&L, and ability to execute.
  • Provide growth plan for Ranpak to enter new categories
  • Use contact databases to create develop relationships with Key Decision Makers at prospect accounts
  • Eliminate attrition through superior account management and execution
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve sales targets and goals
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key decision-makers within major accounts
  • Identify opportunities for business growth and expansion within key accounts
  • Manage and report on sales pipeline, forecasting monthly and quarterly revenues
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and timely delivery of products and services
  • Provide regular reports to senior management on account performance and sales activity


Qualifications
  • A minimum of 5 year's experience in a regional or national account manager position.
  • A sales background with a demonstrated history of sales performance.
  • A solid grasp of sales metrics, KPI’s and performance measures
  • A thorough aptitude for analysis and strategy.
  • Decisive thinking and leadership abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and client-relations skills.
  • Negotiation, conflict resolution, and presentation skills.
  • Dynamic and creative problem-solving abilities.
  • A strong client-focused and hunter mindset.
