Lead Analytics Engineer

Data Analysts help teams collect the right sort of analytics, manage data privacy constraints, analyze the data, plan live-data tests and understand and interpret the results. Your ultimate purpose is to spend significant time building a data infrastructure to help us understand our situation, how our customers engage with our products and enable sound decision making. You thrive on being the undisputed expert in the type of data we collect and report.
This person will primarily work very closely with our sales, marketing, network performance, and finance teams. They will structurally report into the Analytics/Finance department however from time to time they may be dedicated to a specific team depending on the business strategy and nature of the challenges we face.
This job is an individual contributor role. This person will need to be able to influence your teammates, as well as colleagues, stakeholders, and key executives, through use of data and logic.
Requirements
- Take an active role in determining the architecture and implementation of the data warehouse
- Write and deploy robust data models and transformation pipelines that support core analytics products, reporting, and analysis
- Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
- Forge and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to help define requirements for projects
- Partner with multiple teams to generate data insights that influence the strategy and roadmap based on the potential value add and return on investment
- Present key findings, provide actionable insights and make recommendations to stakeholders based on business needs
- Manage data privacy constraints, analyze the data, plan live-data tests and understand and interpret the results
- Identify impactful opportunities, and measure success outcomes to drive customer engagement, adoption, retention, and expansion
- Define product KPIs, product adoption and consumption metrics, and answer complex questions around customer health and success metric
- Assist in building out the SiSense Dashboard, work with Adaptive Analytics to coordinate all the data requirements, work with Product to assist in customer metrics
- Catalog and document our data, ensure accuracy, and create & improve datasets to meet F45 needs
- Help to define and improve our internal standards for style, maintainability, best practices, and new tools and methodologies for our analytics infrastructure

REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years working on technology-powered, consumer-facing products as a data analyst, data scientist, data engineer, or analytics engineer
- Expert in SQL
- Experience building a fully automated data warehouse
- Demonstrated ability to figure out solutions to hard problems with many constraints, using sound judgment to assess risks, and to lay out your argument in a well-structured, data-informed, written narrative.
- Proven ability to engage with stakeholders and company leaders in a constructive and collaborative relationship.
ALSO DESIRABLE
- Understanding of statistics and hypothesis testing (ex. Confidence Interval, Regressions, Time Series, Clustering, Factor Analysis)
- Experience with the tools in our data stack: Snowflake, DBT, Git, Sisense
- Proficiency with Python
