As a Business Intelligence Engineer at Amazon, you'll play a critical role in driving growth through strategic analytics and deep dives. The Seller Fulfillment Services (SFS) team is seeking an experienced professional to design and implement scalable data warehouse infrastructure, build dynamic visualization platforms, and develop self-serve tools.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in data engineering, advanced techniques such as scripting languages and statistical modeling, and strong knowledge of data design approaches and analysis techniques.

We're looking for a detail-oriented individual who thrives in fast-paced environments and is passionate about data and analytics. To succeed, you'll need excellent analytical, data warehousing, and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and deploy BI solutions that solve complex problems and refine requirements from business stakeholders into functional designs.
  • Have a solid understanding of data design approaches and analysis techniques, using them effectively.
  • Work independently and collaboratively with your team to deliver high-quality BI solutions.
  • Demonstrate exceptional quality work, incorporating best practices and maintaining efficient, well-documented solutions that meet team expectations.
  • Focus on operational excellence, identifying quality issues and proposing solutions to improve team BI solutions.
  • Create source-of-truth datasets using SQL and leverage scripting languages like Python to automate processes and reduce manual tasks.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • AWS experience with EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift.
  • Data mining, ETL, and database management experience with large-scale, complex datasets.

Estimated Salary Range: $89,600 - $185,000 per year, based on market location and experience. Total compensation includes additional forms of remuneration and benefits.
