We are looking for a dedicated Cardiovascular Special Procedure Technologist to join our team at TriStar Centennial Medical Center. Job Summary and Qualifications
Responsibilities:
- Administering contrast media according to age/weight specific guidelines
- Setting up sterile trays and maintaining a sterile field
- Scrubbing and assisting interventional physicians during procedures
- Recording and monitoring cases, understanding hemodynamic measurements
- Knowledge of drugs, their actions, side effects, and contraindications for administration
- Starting and maintaining IV access
- Following physician orders, documenting completion of exams, scanning documents, and verifying images
Qualifications:
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) certification
- Current license from an accredited School of Radiologic Technology
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Minimum 1 year of Cath lab or EP lab experience preferred
- New grads from RCIS programs will be considered
