Job Summary:

The Support Removal Technician is responsible for ensuring the successful removal of support structures in manufacturing processes, overseeing part checking, and maintaining compliance with industry standards. This role requires complete ownership of part verification, training, and mentoring of other technicians, and dynamic problem-solving abilities to handle rework and support removal in real-time. The Support Removal Technician is also expected to manage the allocation of parts, implement protective packaging solutions, and ensure smooth part transfers into the factory.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ownership of Part Checking: Verify successful support removal, ensuring all parts meet quality standards.

• Training and Development: Conduct workshops to train current and new technicians on best practices and new procedures.

• Issue Management: Create and manage issue tickets as necessary to address any discrepancies or challenges in the support removal process.

• Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs): Create, execute, and verify the execution of NCRs, ensuring all issues are resolved promptly.

• Resource Allocation: Allocate parts to technicians based on their skill levels, following the established level guide.

• Real-Time Rework: Handle rework and contingent support removal operations as they arise.

• Support Removal Operations: Perform support removal tasks across all levels as required to meet production demands.

• Parts Management: Identify, sort, and organize parts efficiently to maintain workflow.

• Packaging Solutions: Implement and maintain protective packaging solutions to ensure part safety during transfers.

• Factory Transfers: Manage the transfer of parts into the factory, ensuring all processes are followed accurately.

• Compliance Verification: Ensure all processes comply with Manufacturo standards and guidelines.

• Initiatives Implementation: Organize and lead initiatives aimed at improving support removal processes and overall efficiency.

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience: 3-5 years of experience in support removal within a manufacturing environment.

• Technical Proficiency: Proficient in using Manufacturo, Jira, Confluence, Teams, Excel, and Oracle.

• Attention to Detail: Strong ability to identify issues and ensure compliance with quality standards.

• Training Expertise: Experience in training and mentoring technicians, with a focus on continuous improvement.

Expectations:

• Grade A Time Tracking: Maintain accurate and timely Manufacturo time tracking.
