Position:

Our client is expanding and taking on some exciting and new projects The development manager is adding a member to the Agile team to work on various web, mobile, and cloud projects around the enterprise. We have an immediate need for a Mobile Developer on a collaborative team of 6. The role will involve working with a React mobile application and developing microservices to support them. As a Mobile Developer, you'll play a crucial role in building performant, scalable, and reusable components using React Native. You'll collaborate closely with product owners, UX designers, and fellow engineers to translate designs into clean, functional code. Curiosity and a customer-focused mindset are encouraged, as many features will be piloted in real-world use cases. Your goal will be continuous optimization of usability, security, and performance. Responsibilities:

  • Develop and refactor code using React Native
  • Develop and modernize code for Android and iOS platforms
  • Write performant, maintainable, and testable code with test automation
  • Practice Agile development methodologies
  • Design, develop, and test frontend UI using JavaScript and React
  • Collaborate with the development team in Agile standups
  • Maintain the existing code base using React Native
  • Consult with product teams and end-users to prototype, refine, test, and debug solutions
  • Technical Environment: React Native, React, JavaScript, CICD, Microservices, and more

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree or higher in an Engineering or Science field, or related work experience
  • Ability to communicate effectively to multiple teams
  • Experience with Mobile Development (Android/iOS)
  • Experience with React using JavaScript
  • Experience with React Native
  • Experience with Agile Environments
  • Software Engineering knowledge and understanding of common terminology
  • Must be able to work on a W-2 without sponsorship
