About The Role:

We are looking for a friendly and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our team at Aequita Pharmacy. As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our pharmacists and ensuring the smooth operation of the pharmacy. Your responsibilities will include assisting customers, preparing medications, managing inventory, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

What You'll Do:

  • Prepare and dispense medications under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist
  • Manage inventory, including ordering, receiving, and stocking medications and supplies
  • Maintain accurate records of prescriptions and patient information
  • Ensure the pharmacy is clean, organized, and well-maintained
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as processing insurance claims and handling payments
  • Collaborate with the pharmacy team to ensure efficient and effective operations
Who You Are:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Associate's degree preferred
  • Previous experience in a pharmacy or healthcare setting is preferred but not required
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with pharmacy software
  • A positive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow within the company

The estimated pay range for this position is between $20/hour and $24/hour.
