Job Opportunity: Administrative/Patient Access Representative

Location: Troy, OH

Shift: Night 5x8-Hour (22:30 - 07:00)

Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Administrative/Patient Access Representative to join our team in Troy, OH. This role is critical in ensuring that our patients receive the best financial counseling and support as they navigate their healthcare journey. If you are passionate about providing excellent customer service and thrive in a dynamic environment, we want to hear from you
  • Start: ASAP
  • Length: 13 weeks
  • Shift: 10:30 PM - 7:00 AM, Monday to Friday, every other weekend, holiday rotation
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide financial counseling and educate patients and their families on financial assistance options.
  • Collect co-pays and deductibles, and ensure all pertinent financial and demographic information is accurately entered into the ADT system.
  • Verify insurance benefits, generate ABNs, review orders for compliance, and complete MSP forms.
  • Obtain financial and treatment consents, schedule appointments, and place ordered medical procedures.
  • Secure pre-certifications when applicable, maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain excellent customer service standards, effectively communicating with physicians, physician offices, patients, and co-workers.
Qualifications:
  • Education: High School completion / GED required. An Associate's Degree in healthcare or a related business field is preferred.
  • Experience: 1 - 3 years of job-related experience required.
  • Skills: Proficient in Windows-based computer technology, including keyboarding and typing at least 25 wpm.
  • Certification: Medical Terminology certification preferred.
