Impact of this Role:
  • Assembler I: Follows established procedures and guidelines
  • Assembler II: Reviews product specifications/blueprints | Monitors quality and makes appropriate adjustments | Works with process improvement teams to suggest new ideas | Maintains required level of productivity to ensure department goals are met
  • Assembler III: Works from assembly instructions, parts lists, and diagrams to assemble a wide variety of components | Monitors quality of output to identify, discard or rework faulty products | Provides supervisors and managers with process improvement | Provides on the job training/technical assistance to new employees | Maintains productivity to ensure that department goal is met
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Assembler I: Little to no prior relevant experience is required. Ability to use hand/power tools and other special equipment. Ability to read, write and perform standard assembly related tasks.
  • Assembler II: Two years of assembly or operator experience is required. Ability to operate a variety of machine tools and follow instructions. Must be dependable and work well in a team environment. Manual dexterity and the ability to carry out repetitive tasks quickly and methodically. Ability to read and understand technical drawings, schematics, and written work instructions. Mechanical Aptitude.
  • Assembler III: Five years of advanced manufacturing production experience is required. Solid verbal communication and listening skills. Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in manufacturing production. Ability to recognize quality problems with materials and work in process. Advanced shop skills and equipment operation knowledge
Salary Range:

This position offers a competitive salary range along with a comprehensive benefits package, attendance & childcare incentives
  • Assembler I: $15 per hour
  • Assembler II: $17.15 per hour
  • Assembler III: $18.40 per hour
PHYSCIAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Works predominantly on the manufacturing floor. May be exposed to heat, electrical and mechanical hazards, noise, solvents, dust, dirt, fumes, contaminants, cold, noise, vibration, etc.
  • Climbing, stooping, kneeling, lifting, pulling, pushing and ability to move material weighing up to 70 lbs
  • Ability to perform basic preventive maintenance tasks on tools and equipment
  • Ability to use of hand tools, power tools, gas torches and measuring instruments
  • Ability to read blueprints, technical manuals and use measuring equipment
  • Requires standing for prolonged periods of time
  • Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
  • Must be able to walk and use hands
  • Ability to read, write, listen and speak
