Paramedic at Baylor Scott & White Surgical Hospital Fort Worth:

· The ED Paramedic assists with basic patient care based on individual patient needs within his/her scope of practice under direct supervision of the registered nurse or physician at Baylor Scott & White Surgical Hospital at Fort Worth and Baylor Scott & White Surgical Hospital Outpatient Center.

Required Skills

** Education:**

· High School Diploma, or equivalent

· Completion of basic arrhythmia course

Licensure/Certification:

· Current EMT or Paramedic certification

· BLS Required

** Specific Job Experience:**

· Minimum 1-year experience in acute hospital or ambulance setting

· Previous experience Electronic Healthcare Record helpful

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

· Good communication and people skills

· Excellent customer service skills

· Excellent clinical skills appropriate for an EMT or Paramedic

Qualifications:
