You will handle referrals and prior authorizations, and update medical records utilizing the EMR system Epic. You will also prepare exam rooms, ensuring that the proper instruments are available and that rooms are kept clean and stocked. Your role will involve minimal clinical work other than triage. It is essential that you provide a positive patient experience and demonstrate excellent customer service skills. Hard Skills Medical Assistant Certification (preferred, not required) Experience with vital signs measurement Proficiency in EMR Epic system Soft Skills Excellent customer service skills Attention to detail Ability to multitask Work Site This is a fully on-site position in Glen Burnie, Maryland. Work Environment You will be working in a busy Neuro Department that sees up to 25 patients daily per Medical Assistant.
