Intake screening and referral, individual and group counseling, assist with maintaining therapeutic milieu, maintenance of timely and accurate clinical documentation, case management and escorting clients for advocacy when needed. Dual diagnosis education and support; focused K2 reduction initiative.Some outreach work as needed and related duties as assigned. HOURS: Full-time; 37.5 hours per week Sun-Thurs 10am-6:30pm QUALIFICATIONS: MSW or CASAC-T License required. LMHC or LMSW preferred. PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: This 103-bed men's shelter in Brooklyn serves a population suffering from multiple issues including mental illness, substance abuse and serious medical problems. The program offers the full range of case management services as well as on-site psychiatric and medical care. It also incorporates a workforce development component for men who can benefit from this service. The Lexington Avenue Residence is funded by the NYC Department of Homeless Services. BENEFITS BRC takes the health, safety, and wellbeing of our employees seriously. Employees are eligible for health insurance and paid sick time benefits immediately upon starting work. In addition, full time employees receive a generous benefits package, including: Competitive health and dental plans, with coverage is available for your spouse, domestic partner, and dependents.
