Position Responsibilities:

  • Enter material and supply accounts payable invoices in accounting software program(s)
  • Sort and distribute electronic invoices to Project Managers and Management teams for approval
  • Assist with posting credit card transactions
  • Contact vendors to request invoices
  • Review vendor statements to identify any missing invoices

Required Skills:

  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Keen attention to detail and a high level of initiative and ability to work independently
  • Desire to learn construction industry accounting practices

Required Experience:

  • Knowledge of accounting principles and practices. Candidates must have completed two introductory accounting classes
  • Candidates be working towards a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
