Duties and Responsibilities In this role, you will perform the following tasks: Laboratory Glassware: * Gathering laboratory glassware from various work areas. * Use industrial dishwashers to thoroughly clean and sanitize the laboratory glassware. * Ensure proper labeling and handling of the collected glassware. * Return the cleaned glassware to their respective laboratory areas promptly. Sample Management and Collaboration: * Receive samples into the Research and Development (R&D) sample inventory. * Pull daily samples for testing by the laboratories. * Properly dispose of bulk samples according to guidelines at the end of testing protocols. * Attention to detail and accurate record keeping * Communicate effectively with the Laboratory Operations staff to ensure seamless daily operations. Project Work: * Independently or with minimal support, undertake project work to support area goals or improvements. * Collaborate with team members to identify and implement process improvements. * Document and report on project progress and outcomes. Qualifications To excel in this position, you should possess: Attention to Detail: Accurate record keeping and handling of samples, glassware, and equipment is crucial. Physical Strength: Some tasks may involve lifting or moving heavy glassware or sample trays. Effective Communication Skills: Clear communication with colleagues and inventory staff is essential. Education and Experience Degree at the Associate or Bachelor level is required. 1+ years of experience in a similar role is required.
