The pay is as follows: Indianapolis, Indiana - $17.20 Hingham, Massachusetts - $17.20 Syracuse, New York- $17.20 Harrisburg, Pennsylvania- $17.20 The SCA Claims Processor I is responsible for processing Medicare Part B. This individual will need to successfully complete the required basic training, able to perform basic job functions with help from co-workers, specialists and managers on non-basic issues. How you will make an impact: Learning the activities/tasks associated with his/her role. Works under direct supervision. Relies on others for instruction, guidance, and direction. Codes and processes claims forms for payment ensuring all information is supplied before eligible payments are made. Researches and analyzes claims issues. Minimum Requirements: Requires HS diploma or equivalent; a minimum of 1 year of related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. This position is part of our NGS (National Government Services) division which, per CMS TDL 190275, requires foreign national applicants meet the residency requirement of living in the United States at least three of the past five years. Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences: Experience with healthcare insurance claims processing highly preferred. Strong data entry skills preferred. Strong attention to detail preferred. Prior experience with MS Office products preferred.
