HCA Healthcare Anesthesia Services is looking for a BC/BE Anesthesiologist to join UCF Lake Nona Hospital in Orlando, FL. This beautiful, state-the-art facility opened its doors in March of 2021 and is now one of HCA Healthcare Anesthesia Services hospital-employed Programs.Located adjacent to the UCF College of Medicine in Lake Nona s Medical City and just south of Orlando International airport, the hospital is surrounded by some of the most desirable neighborhoods and amenities in Orlando.
Great opportunity to be a part of a collegial team that is passionate about providing outstanding, patient-centered care. Physician schedule includes rotated, scheduled time off plus PTO to promote a healthy work/life balance.
Qualified Candidates/Opportunity Highlights:
- Care Team Model consists of 3 General Anesthesiologists and 7 APPs. Supervision model covering four Sites of Service plus OB.
- Diverse mix of cases including General, Ortho, Neuro, Vascular, Breast, OB/GYN, Gyn-Onc, Robotics, GI, Bariatrics and Cath Lab.
- Must be proficient in OB (epidurals and C-sections). In-house, nighthawk APP to cover OB Mon - Sun. Doc comes in for C-sections.
- 3 Physician team works a 3 week rotation. Schedule:
- Week 1: 7a-3p, Mon Fri
- Week 2: Mon Fri come in at 3p to finish late cases followed by call from home until 7a. Weekend call is from home. Emergent cases only on weekends. 30-minute response time.
- Week 3: OFF
- W-2, Employed position with HCA Healthcare Anesthesia Services
- Start Date bonus and relocation assistance available

- $5K CME annually

- 64-bed facility housing a 20-bed ED, and partnership between HCA Healthcare s North Florida Division and UCF Academic Health, opened its doors on March 1, 2021
- Provide full-service healthcare to Lake Nona and surrounding communities in Florida s southeast Orlando and Osceola County.
- 24/7 emergency care, women s care and comprehensive surgical services, including robotic surgery, Advanced Imaging Center and a Family Birthing Unit.
