Key Responsibilities:
- Administer anesthesia and related care under the guidance of a supervising anesthesiologist.
- Conduct pre-anesthetic evaluations and collaborate on patient-specific anesthetic plans.
- Prepare and manage necessary medications and equipment for anesthesia administration.
- Implement anesthesia care plans, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout procedures.
- Utilize monitoring devices to assess patient status during anesthesia.
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure continuity of care post-operatively.
- Participate in quality assurance initiatives to enhance anesthesia care delivery.
- Support the training and evaluation of student anesthetists.
Qualifications:
- Completion of educational requirements to become a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA).
- Current Florida Nursing License as an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP).
- Certification as a Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) and current national advanced practice certification.
- Up-to-date certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
