This position may be eligible for a $25K sign on bonus for external hires The Work: In this important role, the System Administrator Sr Stf is responsible for: • Deploying, configuring, and maintaining of multi-user computer systems, including coordination with network and system engineers • Setting up administrator and service accounts • Maintaining system documentation • Tuning system performance • Installing system wide software and allocating mass storage space • Interacting with users and evaluating vendor products • Making recommendations to purchase hardware and software • Coordinating installation and providing backup recovery • Developing and monitoring policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources Who we are: The program performs the analysis, design, development, integration, test and deployment, securing, modernization, and operations and maintenance (O&M) and decommissioning activities of RF and optical capabilities. Basic Qualifications: • Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 15 years or more of professional experience. • Must be willing to travel • Experience with Bash Scripting, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible • Comfortability working in more of an independent role rather than being on a team of SAs Desired Skills: • VMWare Experience • NetApp Experience • Network Understanding/Experience Clearance Level: TS/SCI w/Poly SP Other Important Information You Should Know Expression of Interest: By applying to this job, you are expressing interest in this position and could be considered for other career opportunities where similar skills and requirements have been identified as a match. Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
