In addition, you will conduct and participate in all phases of plant trial execution including planning, setup, execution, data generation, and data analysis. In this position you will lead the development of new products/processes and provide technical support to the existing product lines including troubleshooting and process optimization. • Using your technical and problem-solving ability, you will provide manufacturing support to operations and mentor new engineers including on the floor technical support for CCP processes, assist with troubleshooting of equipment, and, as needed, providing training for new engineers, co-op students, and production technicians. You will document this information in updated or new manufacturing procedures, as required, for product and process improvement.

  • Leveraging your previous relevant experience, you will plan and lead manufacturing trials for existing and new products at the Seneca CCP site, and document work for all phases of trials as needed to coordinate efforts of the project team. This includes managing the transfer of new products to the Seneca site including developing operating procedures, specifications, emissions estimates, etc. and making the new products ready for standard production.

  • As a trusted resource for technical/problem-solving expertise, you will successfully assure the effectiveness and accuracy of operating procedures, investigate and close NCMs, and develop and implement Management of Change (MoC) protocols.

  • Your past experiences in process safety will be critical as you manage process safety for CCP in Seneca, including coordination and support of Clean Sheet Reviews and Revalidation of PHAs, serving as a PHA leader when needed, participating in Step Reviews, leading Process Safety meetings, and owning the CCP Explosion Protection Document.

  • Using your strong communications skills and technical background, you will work directly with the lab, R&D, and customers to custom tailor products for their application – making customer visits, as necessary.

If you...

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering and a minimum of 7 years of engineering experience.

  • Understanding of solids manufacturing including, but not limited to, extrusion, calcination, coating and drying.

  • Excellent skills collaborating with all levels within the site.
