This position is being offered on the following shifts: 2nd Shift - 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM 3rd Shift - 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM MEASURES OF SUCCESS: Regularly inspect, troubleshoot, and perform preventative maintenance on packaging machinery and equipment to ensure they are operating at peak efficiency. Diagnose and repair issues with packaging equipment promptly to minimize downtime. Ensure that packaging machines are calibrated correctly to maintain the quality and consistency of packaging materials and products. Ensure that all packaging machinery adheres to safety regulations and protocols to protect workers and prevent accidents. Quickly identify and address operational issues that may arise during packaging processes to minimize disruptions. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance to track maintenance schedules and identify areas for improvement. Operates forklifts to load/unload materials. IDEAL CANDIDATE ATTRIBUTES: At least 1 year of previous experience operating manufacturing machinery Mechanical knowledge/aptitude required Team oriented Able to lift a maximum of 50 pounds and stand for an 8-hour work shift Commitment to quality, safety, and communication Understanding of what the machine is for, how it works, and best practices Able to wear required safety gear when necessary to operate machinery Effective communication skills Must always be able to conduct themselves in a professional manner.
