Title: Scheduler
Reporting Structure: Sr. Production Manager
Position Summary: Under the direction of the Sr. Production Manager, the Scheduler is in charge of scheduling assigned product lines and ensures all manufactured and purchased parts are available for production to meet customer delivery requirements, in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- A minimum of one-year experience in production operations, preferably in food and beverage manufacturing.
- The ability to multitask, work independently, and collaborate with team members across functional groups as desired.
- Knowledge/proficiency and prior experience in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to successfully communicate and interact with co-workers of all levels, as well as external vendors and/or customers.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Review the master schedule for upcoming assigned product line requirements. Develop the schedule of production for assigned product lines to ensure on time customer delivery.
- Act as a technical resource to purchasing, production, sales, and other departments to coordinate efforts and to address and resolve inquires and problems.
- Adjust the production schedule as needed based on availability and customer demands.
- Manage and report all change requests, order completion, and late orders with all defined departments.
- Utilize and improve Scheduling Tools to increase utilization and report out, along with helping to integrate Scheduling into ERP systems.
- Assist in managing inventory control through verifying inventory documentation.
- Follow new product lines for validation and production.
- Complete all special projects as assigned.
- Complete and maintain all required paperwork, records, and documents, etc.
- Follow and comply with all safety and work policies and procedures.
